For first-time visitors to 2k540, please use the directions below. From JR Okachimachi Station, you can reach 2k540 in less than 5 minutes on foot. 2k540 is located under the JR elevated railway. *Please note it is not under the Metropolitan Expressway.
When standing on the JR Okachimachi station platform, look for the South Exit stairway. (Note: The Keihin-Tohoku Line does not stop during weekday daytime hours.)
Go down the stairs and exit through the automatic ticket gate in front of you.
You'll see Lawson in front. Turn right — you’ll pass by “Sukiya.”
Continue straight past ART SPORTS — walk along the elevated structure.
After about one minute, you’ll see Ramen Alley.
Another minute walk leads to the family restaurant Jonathan.
Then, another Lawson will appear on your right.
Next, you’ll see Sun Play gym, where athletes and sumo wrestlers train.
You’ve arrived! 2k540 is a white row of buildings under the railway. There are multiple entrances — you can enter from anywhere.
Upon entering, you’ll find the 2k540 map board labeled “Artisan Street.”
Inside 2k540, you’ll find our shop Takuminohako — a space filled with handmade works from Japanese artisans. Welcome!
